• web3bridge started on the 13th with an opening ceremony & revision on the 14th pre-revisions on content.

Day 1:15th started learning week 2 of the Web3bridge curriculum that covered transactions & accounts. Was interesting to cover how accounts are created and understood them better.

Day 2: 16th

• covered decentralized applications development: its benefits & disadvantages.
• d-Apps development environments: Linux is preferred, Remix & EthFiddle(more to be introduced once will understand how to write smart contracts better)
• understood syntax of solidity, writing smart contracts & interacting with them using the examples on Remix

Day 3:17th

• setup Metamask and connected test-nets plus got access to test-net faucets for Polygon Mumbai, Rinkeby, Kovan among others. Wrote simple contract on Remix and deployed on test-net

Day 4:18th

Learned about introduction to solidity framework: Truffle and its nodes like Ganache & hardhat. Installed Truffle & initial a project using Truffle on VS Code.

Day 5:19th

• Installed GEth and connected test-nets like Mumbai, Kovan, Rinkbey, BSC, to Metamask. Getting faucets for the different test-nets
• Adding network on Metamask: Network name, New RPC URL, Chain ID, and the currency symbol

Day 6:20th

• Continued learning about solidity frameworks: Truffles, Ganache & Hardhat and they can be used on VS Code vs how it's used on Remix. The instructor also stressed the importance of reading the documentation of different blockchain tools we’ll be using. Connecting Metamask etc

Day 7:21st

• It was revision day so we played a smart contract game on Ethernaut where we connect our Rinkbey wallet on Metamask and made use of some contract functions and commands. Nice way to understand solidity 😊
